About Me

Who Am I?

Hi I'm Triston Armstrong On my way to being something great. Never giving up on any aspect of my life. I decided to start web development two years ago. Self taught through FreeCodecamp, I learned everything I needed to get me started in the world of web development.

After developing the skills to put my foot in the door, I enrolled into LambdaSchool of computer science and software engineering. Its been one of my best experiences thus far in my web development journey. I've built an extremely large network, obtaineda tremendous amount of real world remote experience working with teams from accross the globe, obtained the experience necessary to hop into any job running, and learn all things needed to fit into the industry.

My brains

Lambda School is a full-time, online immersive computer science academy that trains people to become software engineers and data scientists at no up-front cost.

Over a rigorous 30-week curriculum, students will demonstrate mastery of core frontend and backend technologies as well as computer science fundamentals. Classes are live-online, interactive, and inclue one-on-one help, real projects, frequent code reviews.

Graduates can expect to have gained experience with frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript using React: as well as backend technologies like Node, SQL, Python and Django. Students also complete a 10-week computer science fundamentals curriculum focused on data structures, algorithms, and computer architecture.

Lambda School's mission is to remove every possible barrier to a world-class education and become the best place in the world to launch a new career. To fulfill this mission, they offer a deferred tuition model, so students only pay a percentage of income after they receive a job - and only if theyre making at least $50k/year.

Earned this Certificate at freecodecamp.org worth 300+ hours of education and experience on the how tos of responsive design, with a focus on mobile first responsie design and how to transition the web app to a desktop flow.

  • Flexbox
  • Grid
  • Semantic html
  • Media Queries

Earned this Certificate at freecodecamp.org worth 300+ hours of education and experience on:

  • Data structures -

collecting and organising data in such a way that we can perform operations on the data in an effective way. The various types of data scructures, when and why to use them.

  • Algorithms -

we learn how an algorithm is said to be efficient and fast, if it takes less time to execute and consumes less memory space. We learned how to better the performance of an algorithm, as well as the various commone types of algorithms.

This is the last highschool I attended. This is where I studied hard, focusing on increasing my knowledge and understanding of the various sciences and mathematics. The diploma I earned here was well earned through my vigerous efforts to succeed!
