I build physical systems too. On my own property I designed and built a complete solar array: panels, inverters, storage, and monitoring. Then I added microcontroller-based sensing, custom reporting software, and network communications on top of it. I also do general construction and framing (barns, coops, outbuildings) plus vehicle and equipment repair. One person from power to automation to structures.
